KWACCIMA Introduces New Incentives for 11th Kwara Trade Fair

The Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) has announced new incentives aimed at enhancing the 11th Kwara Trade Fair, which will take place from December 6 to 16, 2024, at the Kwara Stadium Complex in Ilorin.

The new additions seek to address challenges faced by participants in previous editions and bring added glamour to the event.

Engr. Abu Salami, the First Deputy President of KWACCIMA and Chairman of the 11th Kwara Trade Fair, unveiled these incentives during a press conference held on Monday, December 2, in Ilorin.

Represented by Dr. Ibrahim Hassan, Engr. Salami highlighted that the event would offer a range of new benefits to both exhibitors and visitors.

“To add glamour to the 11th Kwara Trade Fair, we have introduced incentives such as low participation cost for exhibitors, free entry for visitors, Business Grants, Business Seminars, Talent Hunt, Musical concerts, and a children's fun fair arena,” he said.

The Kwara Trade Fair, which is organized annually by KWACCIMA in collaboration with the Kwara State Government through the Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology, aims to showcase the investment potential of the state.

This year’s theme, “Unlocking the Investment Potential of Kwara State for Sustainable Economic Development,” underscored the fair's mission to highlight Kwara's resources and attract both local and foreign investments.

Salami emphasized that the event would feature a wide range of exhibits across industries including agriculture, mining, construction, telecommunications, renewable energy, fashion, cosmetics, oil and gas, and consultancy services.

The trade fair also invites businesses from various sectors, including federal and state corporations, local governments, research institutions, and industries from within and outside Kwara State to participate.

In a show of gratitude, KWACCIMA President, Chief Mrs. Ronke Adeyemi, commended the Kwara State Government for its unwavering support towards the success of the trade fair and other economic initiatives in the state.

The 11th Kwara Trade Fair 2024 will run for 11 days, from December 6 to 16, at the Kwara Stadium Complex, and will be open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
