9 Goals in 5 Games: House of Prayer striker Abdulquadri eyes more goals

In-form striker Abdulquadri Imam of House of Prayer Football Academy has vowed to keep his scoring streak alive as the Nationwide League One (NLO 1) campaign nears its conclusion.

The prolific forward has been one of the standout performers this season, netting nine goals in five matches, with a remarkable seven of those coming in his last two appearances against Kwara Football Academy and Kasam.

Abdulquadri has found the back of the net in every game except the team’s only loss to Unicorn FA, underlining his consistency and importance to the team’s promotion ambitions.

Speaking ahead of their crucial clash against table-toppers Laycon FA, the striker expressed his hunger to increase his goal tally.

“I’m happy with the goals, but I want to score more to help my team reach the playoffs,” Abdulquadri said confidently. House of Prayer FA currently sit second on the table with 10 points, trailing Laycon FA by three points.

With only a few games left in the season, Coach Oniye Muhammad will be banking on his star striker to deliver once again in what promises to be a decisive end to the league campaign.
