Kwara Retired Permanent Secretaries Hails Ahmed’s Re-election as NUJ Chairman, Praises Leadership Qualities

The Association of Retired States Permanent Secretaries of Nigeria (ARSPSON) in Kwara State has praised the re-election of Abdullateef 'Lanre Ahmed as Chairman of the Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), calling it a clear confirmation of his popularity among union members.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the state chapter of ARSPSON, Prince Ayo Fagbemi and Dr. Salihu Ahmed, respectively, the association highlighted that Ahmed's victory in the recently concluded state triennial conference of the NUJ validated their positive view of his leadership.

Dated August 6th, 2024, and addressed to the Kwara NUJ Chairman, the message lauded Ahmed for his simplicity, humility, sincerity of purpose, and accessibility, qualities that have made him a beloved figure among union members in the state.

The association urged Ahmed to continue upholding and enhancing these virtues to ensure that his popularity among his colleagues remains strong.

ARSPSON also encouraged the re-elected NUJ Chairman to adopt an inclusive leadership approach, especially toward those who contested against him, and warned against any attempts to marginalize them.
