Documents: Kwara Government Releases List of Waste Collection Companies, Amidst Crackdown On Violators

The Kwara State Government has published a comprehensive list of waste collection companies along with their contact details and designated coverage areas across the state, as part of its efforts to enhance environmental sustainability.

This move follows the government's recent crackdown on violators of environmental laws, with about forty offenders punished over the weekend by the Ministry of Environment.

The Kwara State Commissioner for Environment, Hajia Nafisat Musa Buge, urged waste management consultants to improve their services to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.

During an inspection of the operational vehicles of these companies, Buge emphasized the crucial role these consultants play in maintaining environmental cleanliness and sustainability.

Among the waste collection companies identified by the state government is Fess Environmental Services, which has been tasked with handling waste disposal for residents around Princess Hotel, Tipper Garage, Oke-Odo, and PS Gate Right.

Other notable companies include Olajide Dulat Enterprises, Bosun Ade Environmental Services, and Clean Concept Environmental Consult, which are responsible for medical waste disposal in Ilorin South and West Local Government Areas.

De-Finess will oversee clinical waste disposal in Ilorin South, while companies like Extreme Global Enterprises, Integrated Greenfield, G. Logistics, JIRAB Environmental Services, SAYOF Enterprises, Blunt Place Global Enterprises, and Baba Fila will also contribute to waste management efforts across the state.
