Governor Abdulrazaq Inspects Renovations at Kwara Stadium’s Indoor Sports Hall

Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq recently toured the Kwara Stadium Complex to review progress on the ongoing renovations of its indoor sports hall, part of his administration's commitment to revitalize sports infrastructure across the state.

The indoor sports hall, last upgraded in 1991, is now receiving a comprehensive overhaul led by contractor Messr Disscom Ltd.

The project aims to bring the facility up to modern standards, addressing decades of wear and outdated features.

The renovation is part of a broader push by Governor Abdulrazaq’s administration to restore and enhance the state’s sports facilities, several of which have been revitalized over the past five years.

Notably, the administration has completed a state-of-the-art table tennis hall and an advanced squash court complex. The squash complex, widely celebrated across Nigeria and West Africa, boasts numerous modern courts, positioning Kwara as a prominent hub for the sport.

Governor Abdulrazaq's efforts are reshaping Kwara’s sports landscape, providing athletes with world-class facilities to train and compete, while fostering local and regional sports development.
