The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a new date for the previously postponed fixture between Kwara United and Enyimba FC at the Kwara State Stadium.
In a statement released on Thursday, the league management confirmed that the match will now take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
Kwara United, after a challenging start to the season, have shown signs of improvement and currently sit 12th on the league table with 23 points from 18 matches.
Meanwhile, Enyimba FC have continued to struggle for form, leading to the recent dismissal of their head coach, Yemi Olarenwaju.
In a bid to revive their campaign, the Aba-based club has appointed former Rivers United manager, Stanley Eguma, to steer the team for the remainder of the season.
The rescheduled fixture is expected to be a critical encounter for both sides as they seek to climb higher in the NPFL standings.
