In a move aimed at bolstering
grassroots governance and community development, the Kwara State Government has
reiterated its commitment to fostering partnerships with various stakeholders.
This announcement was made by
Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on
Community Development, during a recent stakeholders' meeting.
The meeting, which brought
together representatives from diverse sectors including individuals, corporate
entities, and development agencies, served as a platform to discuss strategies
for enhancing community development initiatives across the state.
Dr. Olohungbebe emphasized
the importance of collaboration in achieving the developmental objectives set
by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration.
Highlighting the government’s
readiness to engage with the public, Dr. Olohungbebe encouraged residents to
communicate their community development needs through dedicated phone lines, which were
provided in informational flyers distributed during the meeting.
This initiative aims to
streamline the process of gathering community feedback and identifying priority areas
for intervention.
